Despite this, a spark of curiosity has led me down a new path—the world of finance.

Rather than letting spare time slip by, I've delved into podcasts and educational platforms, discovering insights from respected sources like Investec, Alan Gray, and Biz News. While I may not grasp every term at first, it's the challenge of understanding that propels me forward. With research as my co-pilot, I sit down at my computer, uncovering the meaning behind the words I hear.

Political changes in the United States, particularly Trump's executive orders on tariffs, created ripples in the global financial waters. At home in South Africa, political tensions with the U.S. further stirred the pot, accompanied by bold moves in land reform policies. As the world wrestles with these economic uncertainties, my quest to learn becomes a balancing act of filtering through the noise to find clarity and understanding.
